Anxiety therapy

For people who are tired of managing anxiety and ready to get to the root of it.

This can't be how life is supposed to go.

You’re spending so much time in your own head that it feels impossible not to overthink, second-guess, and question yourself at every turn.

As much as you want to look like you have it all together, you live with a constant undercurrent of anxiety that is impacting how you show up in your life, your work, and your relationships.

You have a sense that your past is somehow affecting your present—that the experiences you’ve carried for years are influencing how you feel, react, and relate. You want to understand the connection, so you can finally shift it and begin creating a new future for yourself and your relationships. Audrey Schoen, LMFT specializes in anxiety therapy at her Roseville practice and online across California and Texas, using approaches like Brainspotting and ART to get to the root of what's driving your anxiety instead of just teaching you to manage it.

You’re ready to:

  • Break the anxious thought patterns that you know aren’t productive.

  • Feel proud of how you are showing up in your relationships.

  • Hold healthier, loving boundaries that protect your mind and your heart.

  • No longer feel controlled by your worry or emotions.

  • Be confident that you can be “ok” even if life around you doesn’t feel that way.

How it works

Profound, lasting change is possible with personalized therapy.

We’re not going to spend months learning to cope with anxiety. We’re going to figure out where it’s actually coming from — and change that.

In counseling, we’ll examine both your current experiences and your past ones in order to do that. By understanding how past experiences have influenced and programmed you for how you act, feel, and think today, we can unlock ways to help you change those things at their core. This frees you to create a future of your own choosing: one that aligns with your authentic self and the life you deserve.

Our work is guided by your goals, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. What I do bring is clinical precision and a direct approach — using Brainspotting and Accelerated Resolution Therapy to get beneath the surface of your anxiety, find what's actually driving it, and change it at the root rather than managing it indefinitely.

A calmer, more authentic you also means healthier, more satisfying relationships, so we’ll spend time working on ways to reduce conflict, increase confidence, and feel less reactive to your partner.

My goal is that you leave each session with something tangible to apply to your day-to-day: something to think about, something to try, something to read, or another tool to begin making the small tweaks that add up to big change.
